Contribution in Technical Report

The following entails my portion of the technical report.

Benefits

The following benefits have been identified to encourage the adoption of DVTEV technology. The improved performance this technology brings to cars has a mutually supportive impact on the environment and drivers.

4.1 Better Vehicles Performance and Experience

With the implementation of DVTEV, the vehicle would boast higher vehicular performance and a better driving experience. In terms of vehicle performance, DVTEV on vehicles would allow for longer travelling distances on a single charge due to its efficient transmission, more power directed to the wheels, and low work rate on the motor. Since the vehicle is also electric, the vehicle would also have high amounts of torque and acceleration. This combination of these factors entails minimal vehicle charging when travelling from one point to another. Overall, this provides a more convenient experience for the user.

4.2 Positive Environmental Impacts

The vehicle's increased range means that fewer fossil fuels will need to be burned to meet the reduced electrical needs, thereby reducing the net greenhouse effect. Additionally, since fewer motors will need to be replaced because of less motor wear, fewer motors will need to be produced. As a result, the number of raw materials used to create the exterior and interior components of the motor, such as nickel and lithium will decrease

4.3 Wide Product Receptibility

Governments all over the world, including Singapore, offer incentives to companies that create green, sustainable, and highly efficient products. Polestar's cars would qualify for the incentives if they adopted the double CVT transmission with the stated innovations. This would provide Polestar with new revenue streams and lower production costs. WIth the lower production costs, more people can purchase and afford the maintenance, leading to a wide variety and range of customers.
